I have a full service history.It does need some TLC - the front passenger-side bulkhead is in need of some welding under the LH air vent and by the Snorkel / Door Hinges - see picturesThere is also a dent in the back door... about 1 inch dent. Could be knocked out fairly easily I would guess.The Passenger Side Mirror is buggered but there is a brand new replacement, boxed up and ready included in the price. Bizarrely it runs like a dream... but not a dream the MOT man wanted any part of!It was a long list of failings im afraid...mostly related to the need for extra welding. The garage said it could be welded but would take alot of time to do so hence the cost of a mechanic would be high... stated reasons were:-1 offside and nearside front chassis steering component excessively corroded2 offside and nearside vehicle structure excessively corroded within 30cm on towbar mounting3 offside/nearside rear brake binding4 Brake master cylinder/servo mounting area is corroded5 offside front brake pipe corroded6 exhaust has a major leak of exhaust gas7 nearside rear (cross member) rear structure corroded within 30cm of towbarThere are 6 `minor` Advisory terms as well Collection only pleaseNo Reserve but there is a `Buy It now` price after many requests for one!Re-listed due to previous `buyer` not being able to proceed. selecting a gear, smooth transitions and nice and quiet. happily does 65-70 mph on motorway without a sign of a death wobble ! you can easily hear yourself think and your passenger talking too, the heater works lovely and it doesn`t leak . all of which are quite rare in these beasts !! it has 129,000 genuine miles on the clock. solid chassis and rear cross member and the inside is IMMACULATE ! im a clean freak so its not a damp, smelly tin box ! the seats are original cloth trim, no holes or tears . the rear seats face in and fold up, also immaculate. the head lining and window trim/ surrounds are also very clean and complete. all in all, not seen a tidier landy 90 of this age inside! The paint isn`t show room condition, but hey, it was made in 1990 so what do you expect, but it polishes up nice when i wax it. some bubbling in places and there is a rust spot below passenger side windscreen. only other bad bit is the drivers door will need replacing as there is a split by the lower hinge. have priced one up and second hand it will cost £80 and thats in the same colour so no re spraying is required. It also comes with a spare set of 265/75/R16 on steels and an `A` bar . haven`t had chance to fit it but its included. There is a tow bar and chequer plate side rails. rubber matting in rear and all door cards are clean,and present. the rear door is good too. The body panels are VERY straight. no nasty usual dents and creases. no dents at all in fact . This little landy starts every time and runs really well. lots of receipts. as i said, im no expert but this is a genuine 90. no upgrades or modifications, its original and simple, so please dont expect anything but what it is, a cared for and honest vehicle. please feel free to ask any questions. i work and have no access to a computer until the evenings but will message you back as soon as i get in from work.or, alternatively , you can leave a message on my mobile. 07979 298268 and i`ll call when i can. winning bidder will be required to pay £250 deposit via pay pal and remainder in cash on collection. thanks for looking. It has the usual `Defender` scars, ie aluminium oxidisation on the doors and some scratches here and there, mainly on the 2 O/S doors, and there is some laquer peel on the wing tops and a little on the bonnet, but on the whole scrubs up pretty well, as can be seen in the pics. Just before I bought it, it had a new clutch, diesel tank and radiator, and since owning I have done the following:- Replaced all side/tail/indicator/fog/reversing and wing repeater light units Replaced internal light unit Replaced thermostat N/S/F Wheel bearings and hub seal replaced O/S/F Wheel bearings and hub seal replaced N/S/F CV Joint changed including swivel housing seal kit, top swivel pin, top and bottom swivel bearings replaced and new N/S/F drive flange Head gasket replaced, head skimmed and pressure tested, new head bolts, heater plugs, manifold gasket, timing belt replaced (164175 miles), front crank and cam seals and timing cover crank seal Both rear shock absorbers replaced Rear tail pipe replaced Steering drag link replaced New battery Refurbished and profesionally sprayed safari door. Witter adjustable height towbar fitted (tow ball not shown in pic, as it is stored seperatley to avoid easy theft) Cubby box fitted, but still have centre seat and it will be included in the sale As stated above it drived perfectly and has never let me down, and is 100% original, engine and chassis numbers checked out by the local police at a recent Land Rover day. The engine does not burn or leak any oil and very rarely have to top up, the heater actually works since the new thermostat and again, no water leaks. Starts on the button everytime hot or cold. The sunroof does not leak, I cleaned the seal when I first got it and did a small modification to the seal and it`s never leaked (I`ve never opened it since just in case, but it is NOT sealed shut and WILL open as normal if required) There is a small leak on the steering box which is common with Defenders, but I`ve only ever needed to put around 1/2 on eggcup in after around 6 months or so, so I`ve never bothered worrying about it. As can be seen from the pics, the usual `Rot Spot` around the bulkhead is perfect on this Landy, there is no corrosion visible on the bulkhead, and the floor pans are also solid. The tyres are all pretty good, the 2 rears were new around a year ago and look hardly worn, all the tyres are Avon Rangemaster 8 ply as fitted as standard. CD/Radio fitted in bespoke stainless steel carrier. Regrettable sale, but just not practical for commuting to work. Please don`t hesitate to message me for more info. 110 county station wagon 200TDi 11-seater, refinished in Blue with a white roof. | Comes with a dateless registration number, and it’s fully LEZ compliant under the new regs. | . . | In 11-seater configuration, its fitted with: full county trim inc sunroof, cloth seats, carpets etc, power steering, heavy duty rear springs, a matching set of 5 new-looking 265/70R16 M&S tyres on white 8-spoke rims, , side and rear steps, front bar, privacy film to rear windows, mudflaps, and adjustable towpack.. Internally, it has 3 high back rear seats, centre cubby box, and an immobiliser. | Odometer reading 153000 miles, and it comes with MOT to December 2012, and road tax to end November 2012 also. | On test on arrival it performed without apparent fault. | . | Further detail: | The body and paintwork on this one are rather straight by Land Rover standards (with just a couple of minor dinks in the barrelsides) , and the paint could best be described as functional having been applied by an agricultural engineering company more used to spraying tractors. . Very little electrolytic reaction, but there is some overspray etc on door rubbers etc. . See video for more details. Both scuttle ends and A posts etc look very good indeed.
