was taken to Shukers Land Rover and had a new turbo fitted, once this was fitted it developed an engine misfire and rattle. Shukers diagnosed this as a bent con rod in the engine and required a new one fitting. As the cost of a genuine engine is extremely high, the previous owner put the vehicle in storage as he worked away. The car has been in storage for the last 6 months and sadly has had various items stolen from it. The previous owner has not claimed on his insurance as too much time has now gone by. The following items are missing :- Both rear quarter panel windows have been removed N/S turbocharger Number 1 injector Both front headlights N/S/R light unit O/S/R light unit cracked O/S/R door quarter glass smashed Both wing mirrors Spare wheel N/S/F inner wheel arch All four door window channel rubbers All of the above requires replacing along with the engine and turbo charger. Obviously the engine currently does not run as there is no turbo on it (there are people advertising on eBay to supply and fit recon complete engines including turbos for £3995). I have listed as many items above that I can see are missing, there still may be the odd small part that I am unable to see. The rest of the car is cosmetically good, it has two minor scuffs on both front bumper ends but these would easily repair. This vehicle with a new/recon engine would easily sell for between £26,000 - £27,000 area. The interior is in a mint condition and once the car has had a valet etc it will look a superb car. This is being sold with no reserve and I have put the starting bid in at a very low price. I would say a rough guide price of £5,000 - £6,000 would cover all associated costs to get this car back on the road. Grab yourself a bargain.
