roof (removeable) and a fully removable top at the back for those hot summer days to come!!! it comes with a full service history, i have just had replaced the complete engine under warranty, all the following renewed within the last 12 months - front discs and pads renewed, new AP borg and beck top quality complete clutch fitted, all the following renewed with the engine - new water pump. cam belt, alternator belt and power steering belt, oil change and filter, air filter, anti freeze, thermostat, plugs, this represents well over £1000 in work carried out, the car is currently mot`d untill January 14th next year, i have taken it for another mot before it goes to its new owner. IT IS NOW MOT`D UNTILL JAN 2013. This 4x4 drives very well it is sure footed and will easily deal with any snow!, it is amazingly responsive for the size of the engine, it rides as it should, gear changes smooth with no untoward noises from any of the drive train. it has the hill decent control fitted, it has been really well looked after as you can tell from the photos and especially pampered with its servicing, in addition it is excellent inside and everything reflects its very low mileage, it has burgundy metallic paintwork which polishes up very well with only 2 minor dings. underneath is also amazingly clean. my Picasso and it had just had done to it, an upgraded head gasket kit fitted, cambelt,4 new tyres and a service, since I have had it I`ve replaced the water pump, thermostat and housing, new window motors in both doors, rear section of exhaust and looked after it! Whilst in garage I had prop removed to run car as a two wheel drive to save on fuel(huge difference) prop will come with car or I can have refitted if need be? I didn`t go off road(costs£25 to put back)..car is in a nice condition, shines lovely when polished and only has the odd imperfection or light scratch.. There is one small scratch to the bumper shown in pic, car has witter towbar and elecs,roof rails and comes with a pioneer mp3/iPod cdplayer.. The BMW derived engine is excellent and the vehicle has been maintained and cared for correctly. | I`m using it as my daily driver so the mileage will go up a little but I`m not going anywhere far so it won`t go up a lot. | The automatic/sport/tiptronic gearbox gives you the best of both worlds; drive in automatic for an easy time; push over into Sport and it stays in gear a bit longer so you can overtake easier or (when in Sport mode) push up/down to select the gears manually - it`s a really good gearbox in this unlike some auto/tip boxes I`ve used in the past. | It also has Hill Descent Control that adjusts the engine and braking systems to get you down very steep slopes at a very slow speed - this works really well and comes in handy in the snow. | The exhaust removed was the original and the belts are all new (there`s no cam belt on this engine as it uses chains so there`s no worry there) so it`ll easily do this mileage again without need for anything like that! | There are, of course the odd stone chip and so forth that you`d expect of a car of this age and mileage but overall it`s a cracking vehicle with nothing to write home about. | Inside there are signs of wear; the main being that the vinyl covering on the front seat bases has some cracks/flaking but they are not torn and are not noticeable when sitting in it anyway - you must be able to buy replacement covers for the seat bases for not too much but they`ve never bothered me and any Freelander Sport of this age will be showing the same wear anyway. | The spare wheel needs a new tyre should it be required; I`ve been driving for years and never actually used a spare wheel so it never worried me in the slightest and you could use it to get you home as it is and does not affect the MOT. | I`ll be genuinely sad to see this go; I`ve spent a fortune on this as has the previous owner so grab yourself a bargain and bid away - this is one hell of a good car! | Brief list of features: | Power steering | Remote central locking | Air conditioning | Climate control | Heated windscreen | Electric windows all round | Rear electric window | CD auto changer | Premium sound system | Hill descent control | N.B. I bought it so I`ve done less than 2000 miles in a whole year!This is my 3rd vehicle and just doesn`t get used enough, and I can no longer warrant paying out for 3 sets of MOT/Tax/Insurance every year, so, this has got to go.Perfect time to buy just before the snow hits - the snow is coming!!I was informed the head gasket had been done when I bought it but unfortunately don`t have evidence of this.However it drives fine every time I`ve driven it so I have no reason to think otherwise. Does not over heat or lose water. Blowers blow very hot.It has a tow bar with electrics that work. I`ve never used it to tow anything heavy. I pulled my jet ski with it twice in the summer, but just haven`t got time to use that any more either.Between winter and summer it was declared sorn so not used for a few months (stored in a dry workshop). When I wanted to use my jet ski I got an MOT and TAX and insurance on it, which was roughly August. I believe the Tax runs out at the end of FEB, so the MOT started 6 months before then, so has more than 6 months MOTQuick sale preferred, while I still have it insured. As new laws state I`m no longer allowed to keep a car taxed if it`s not insured, if I cancel the insurance the tax will go too, so would rather it went to a new home with Tax intact.Will also make it easier to arrange test driving if it`s all taxed and insured still.Any inspection welcome and you are welcome to test drive it, however you will need to prove you are insured first. If you can`t prove this I will happily drive you around.It also has the side steps and light covers which drew me in to buying this one in the first place, as it looks a little smarter.Sorry there`s only a couple of pictures, I had loads but seems I can only find these 3 at the moment but can take more on request.Anything else I can help you with, just ask.Thanks for looking! in chalkboard paint. The kind that marks easily and sets your teeth on edge. This is not like that. It mimics the coatings you see by Mercedes and BMW which a film `wrap`. The alloy wheels are painted in BMW Havanna metallic with a satin lacquer. The car comes with factory fitted removable roof bars (finished in champagne silver), tinted glass twin removable sunroof panels (not the black fibreglass ones), standard removable rear buck (finished in satin black to match the car). The interior is standard Land Rover Cloth. I have fitted the front seats with Land Rover removable waterproof grey seat covers. The boot has a LandRover rigid plastic boot liner in dark grey. This car has never had a towbar fitted. It has a good spare wheel in pressed steel. It had a new clutch in June 2011. The car has travelled just over 97,000. I have two keys and one remote fob. There is tax until the end of November 2012 and an MOT til 15th June 2012. There is a crack on thewindscreen over the license disc.
