This Freelander drives excellently without fault. The commanding driving position gives an excellent view of the road and the 2 litre diesel BMW engine provides plenty of pulling power and gives an excellent return of around 35MPG, which is extremely competitive for a four wheel drive vehicle. The automatic gearbox is smooth and selects all the gears correctly. I can’t stress how well this Freelander drives and find it hard to imagine a better example at this price. I can’t fault the driving experience!!! An excellent drive. The interior is in fantastic condition with no obvious signs of age. All the trim, upholstery and storage compartments (numerous) are in good condition with no major marks, rips or tears. All the gadgets and gizmos, and there are lots (Air Con an added bonus with this Freelander) work correctly!! There is loads of space inside to easily seat five people, with plenty of leg and head room. There is a large boot and a very clever lockable storage space in the boot floor!! In keeping with the way this Freelander has been maintained to the highest mechanical standards the exterior is in excellent condition. I have been over it with a fine tooth comb and only found a few minor marks here and there, nothing that is worth a specific mention. There are no obvious dents and certainly no evidence of any paintwork being carried out at any stage. To look at this Freelander you would be forgiven in thinking it was nearly new.
