Excellent well found & sorted Landrover Lightweight (they were not lighter build but merely smaller to drive into aircraft doors)

As a former soldier I learnt to drive in one of these & rushed about in them subsequently.

They are very rugged & can of course be driven as a TAX EXEMPT 'car' because of the free wheeling hubs fitted to the front wheels.

Consider an almost completely alloy vehicle with historic military interest capable of seating seven passengers with world renowned 4x4 ability; rock bottom classic car insurance premium & almost zero depreciation & it is not difficult to see why these Landrovers are so sought after!

This Landrover is the last of the TAX EXEMPT being 1972 manufacture. The Safari roof tells us about warm climate service & my own service tells me this was a command vehicle fitted for radio.

In radio's place is a super face-off Sony CD Stereo with RDS & proper door mounted speakers.

Extra lighting; NATO hitch; battery cut off switch & sensible additions make this lightweight the one to own!

For those who do not know these Landrovers have duel fuel tanks under each seat/switchable by brass valve under driver's seat.

In short its got the lot; any trial; come & drive it our our patch in the New Forest?
