An amazing fun vehicle, with lots of nice features, ideal for petrol heads and “big toy” collectors.

As you can see, there have been some changes, there is the addition of a heavy-duty winch bumper, but no winch is fitted, the wheel arch extensions have been exchanged for plastic deformable items. (Still have the originals, included in sale, if they appeal more to your aesthetic preferences) It is now fitted with custom built rock / tree sliders and it wears 4 brand new Insa Turbo Special track tyres.

It has 9 months MOT, and obviously it is TAX-free so it is taxed until November 2012.

It has recently had a new clutch slave cylinder, new tie rod bushes, a front axle swivel kit and a new water pump. The carbs have recently been replaced with good second hand SU’s. Having fitted the SU’s it would be fair to say that the carbs need to be setup and tuned to a higher standard than I am able capable of achieving to eliminate some flat spots, whilst accelerating, otherwise I am unaware of any other issues.

The chassis and underside is exceptional and all work under here is to a very high standard, the brake callipers are all recon items and still appear as new the brake discs and pads are also as new and all brake pipes are copper. Suspension is as pictured with no issues. The bodywork is best described as 100% sound, but perhaps “shabby chic’’. I think it was meant to be like this and in its own way looks good.

The engine makes a glorious noise, with the exhaust having tubular manifolds, with a single stainless rear box. This produces the stereotypical American V8 sound, this is noisy and will attract a lot of attention, this may or may not be “your thing”.

Obviously, on a vehicle of this nature, I can only recommend inspection. I can show people though evenings only; I will start the bidding at £2750 with no reserve and let the auction take its course.

I expect the winning bidder to leave a deposit via paypal of £250 within 24 hours, with the remainder being paid by cash on collection within 7 days of the auctions conclusion, or the item will be re-listed.
