Landrover Series 3 SWB 2 1/4 petrol Nov. 1983 A reg. 53,600 miles!

This Landrover is in exceptionally good condition. I bought it 3 1/2 years ago and have covered 4,500 miles with it. It has always been reliable. I have kept it in a warm, dry garage. Judging by it's condition, I don't think it's ever been off road!  It had 4 new tyres about 100 miles ago and a new petrol tank 2 weeks ago. It had a new battery last year. It has always passed it's MOT easily. The chassis was power washed and waxoyled immediately before I bought the vehicle.  As the photo's show, it has been lovingly looked after and is in great mechanical condition too. Taxed until end of Aug. and MOT to Sept. 26th 2012.  Everything works and the vehicle is fitted with overdrive. The front seats I suspect are original and the rear bench seats still look new. A matching grey headling has also been fitted to a very high standard. It still has the original starting handle and bottle jack. Both front wings have scuffs on the front edge - done by the previous owner - but these are not very noticeable and do not detract from the appearance of the vehicle. The engine starts easily and is VERY sweet. After all - it's done less than 2,000 per year!!

This Landrover is as good as you'll get short of buying a 'concours' example - it really is in amazing condition. I am (very) reluctantly selling due to lack of use.
